Hello, I am new to the dairy scene and would like to know what the basic equipment is for a small dairy. At max capacity we plan on having no more than 25 Icelandic sheep, 12 Alpine goats, and 9 cows (Dexter and Milking Devon). I plan to use machine milkers that unload into a portable tank, which we will cool in a chest freezer. I am well aware of the hygiene procedures for cleaning the udder before milking, so I don't need information about that. What else should I know about milk handling equipment? Where should I look for small scale bottling equipment? If I'm starting 100% from scratch, what do I need to invest in?
